Today, I was told on Twitter that I have to accept if my entire TL (all of my tweets) is being mirrored on the social media platform Mastodon. Mirroring means that all the content I create on Twitter (my own tweets and those retweeted) is automatically shown on Mastodon, including the visual aspects of my Twitter account.

I see two problems with this:

a) I want to have enough control over my  content to determine on which platform I post it.

b) If my Twitter account is reproduced on another platform, this seems to me almost an impersonation of myself.

What would you think about this?
